Ladies, lets talk about modesty and purity.

Two issues that arguably go hand-in-hand, and I would argue, go hand-in-hand with self respect.

I mean, seriously, ladies! Do we all have so little self respect that we’re going to allow a guy to have his hands and eyes all over our bodies in some futile attempt to be loved? Let me make this clear. IF HE LOVES YOU, HE’LL RESPECT YOUR BOUNDARIES.

Ladies, that’s not even the whole issue. There’s also the issue of our bodies being the temple of the Lord. Are we going to defile God’s dwelling place for selfish ambitions? Do you want your body to be like the temple that Jesus drove the tax collectors and thieves out of? That’s terrible! Ladies, cover your bodies up, and keep them pure, because they are sacred!

Also, are not your body and sex gifts for your husband? If you buy somebody a Christmas gift, are you going to give it to someone else, let them use it for a while, and then wrap it up and put it under the tree? NO. So don’t treat your husband’s gifts like that! Isn’t he worth so much more than that?

Ladies, we are Princesses. We are daughters of the King. We are the children of the God who has the power to give life, and to take it. We are daughters of the God who has the power to make people sick and to heal them, and to create everything the eye can see and more by speaking. That demands respect, ladies. If he doesn’t respect you, don’t ever let him see your body.

Don’t go flaunting your body for every guy on the street! Were you not created for something so much greater than that? Don’t sell yourself so short! You deserve better than that. You deserve to be respected, ladies, and you’ve gotta respect yourself, ‘cause if you don’t respect yourself, how dare you get mad when nobody else does?
